With On-Premises deployment: data stays in your firm, so the liability chain is the same as with any local software (e.g. RA-Micro on your own server).
With Cloud: we operate under a Data Processing Agreement (AVV per Art. 28 GDPR). We are a small provider — firms handling very high damage exposure should consider On-Premises or discuss dedicated SLAs with us.
No. Our cloud infrastructure is hosted exclusively in Germany with European providers. We do not use US hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) for client data storage.
We provide a written secrecy agreement (Verschwiegenheitsvereinbarung) per § 203 Abs. 4 StGB for all staff with potential access to client data.
